Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come to Abrail 2018 on a bitterly cold day — at least it wasn’t the Sunday! We think the event went well, though we know there were a few teething problems with our new venue. After a long process, with lots of input from a few key individuals, we’re very pleased to announce that the club has achieved charity status. The change was approved by the members at an EGM in January 2018. Whilst not changing the day-to-day ethos or running of the club, this move should help improve the overall organisational structure and make it easier to access grants and extra funding.
